The details of art production can be tedious and gravely affect the creation process. I work with artists to assist them in the production process.

I step in as a coordinator to provide the artist with realistic production timelines, to handle the logistics of any collaboration with other artists, and to facilitate post production processes. My job is to make everything as seamless as possible for the artist so that she/he may focus on their work.

Laura Gibson

A native Detroiter, arts curator, photographer, and an MFA graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art, Laura Gibson explores the toll gentrification takes on the history and residents for Detroit in her short film, Displacement Detroit. Her film, which is part of a larger exhibit on gentrification, premiered at the Science Gallery and has been picked up by Talking Dolls of Detroit.

Nina Young was very persistent in giving major support and adequate productional material for my short film, Displacement Detroit. Her abilities in film editing and critique were insightful, specifically, her being a native Detroiter, was able to strategize and place me in areas that we best suited to help viewers navigate the film. Aside from her networking and team building skills, she brings positivity and enthusiasm and would be a great asset to any production or creative project.
